Kathy Carr began her professional path by acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, which endowed her with the technical expertise that would become key in her future endeavors. She was initially employed at a prestigious office in the Philippines, where she strengthened her skills and gained valuable experience. Kathy’s career is marked by her adaptability and versatility, as she has worked in a variety of environments, from traditional office settings to the dynamic field of real estate and healthcare.
This diverse experience, spanning almost twenty years and two countries- the United States of America and the Philippines, has enriched her understanding of different work cultures and business strategies. Leveraging her experience and business knowledge from more than a decade in healthcare, Kathy, together with her partners, ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing a Home-care business. Her endeavors didn’t end there, with a background in real estate, and in collaboration with her business partners, they launched Dream Homes Realty, a rehabilitation and retrofit company. The success of her career is beyond her professional achievements.
Kathy is an active member of her community. She is a part of several associations, including the Real Estate Investors Association (REIA), Rental Property Association of Wisconsin, and the Filipino American Association of Wisconsin (FAAWIS). Her commitment to giving back to the community is evident in her volunteering efforts at CommonHeart Hospice. Today, Kathy Carr stands as a testament to the power of perseverance, adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit, accompanied with a strong sense of community service.
